Villa Flora a family residency
since year 1820. It is situated the the beautiful Branik village, right under
the Castle Rihemberk. Rooms are furnished with arts and antiques. All rooms
have wooden floors and preserved atmosphere of the past. As well as antique
slovenian furniture of different styles as of: Art Deco, Jugendstil, Vienna
Secession, Alt Deutsch, Neo Baroque and Biedermeier.
Rooms are of different sizes
and will be assigned on first come, first served bases. Some have private bath,
some share the bath with another room or two.

All our rooms have antique slovenian furniture.
Big calm very private garden is situated at the back of Villa Flora. Part of it is organic vegetable garden with big fruit trees (figs, cherry trees, vines…)

Large studio on a side of the garden will be available for you during daily hours.

Villa Flora also has a small
terrace on the second floor with a stunning view of the Castle Rihemberk.

inside Villa Flora.
It is a two star accommodation.
We aim to protect local culture and traditions. We are as well very concerned with ecology and the environment on a global scale as well as here on our own property where we take every precaution possible to protect the land and everything that lives on it. We recycle garbage, cultivate organically, and take great care not to waste resources such as water, electricity, etc.
Breakfasts are composed of bread, butter, several different types of local honeys and local marmelades. Coffee and tea.
Dinners: we are in the Mediterranean country, so Mediterranean cuisine. With lots of pork meat and wine, too. Prosciutto, sausages, baked pork...
Excursions:
from the day trip to the Alps - Soča river where we will have our picknic lunch. And beside painting you can also go for a hike or for a swim in the river.

But it you like to explore the area by mountain bike (availalble to rent at Villa Flora) or on a just couple of hour hike from Villa Flora... the nature here is intact and stunning.
